Typical dishes? Tortellini!

Tagliatelle al ragù, Passatelli and Lasagne are some of Bologna’s most famous dishes, but the most important is Tortellini: made from egg pasta with a delicious meat filling. Legend has it that they were invented in an inn in Castelfranco Emilia, between Modena and Bologna, and were modelled on the shape of the navel of Venus. Try them served in a beef and capon broth!
